Pond of 8-10 acres on small creek flowing into lake. Myriophyllum exabescens and Utricularia vulgaris dominant in shallow water, Chara dominant in deeper water; also Scirpus acutus, Nymphaea, Potamogeton gramineus, P. alpinus var. tenuifolius, Naias flexilis, Sparganium. Bottom sandy but generally covered with 15cm or more of organic matter, water mostly less than 2m., densely vegetated throughout.
Small plants with floating leaves in water less than 15cm deep near road, larger plants (in fruit) in water 60cm deep extending above layer of Utricularia and Myriophyllum.
