Habitat: Riparian canyon in oak-mesquite grassland.
Associated Species: Populus fremontii, Fraxinus velutina, Prosopis velutina, Quercus oblongifolia, Juniperus deppeana, Rhus virens, Baccharis salicifolia, Baccharis sarothroides, Nolina microcarpa, Amorpha fruticosa, Aloysia wrightii, Garrya wrightii, Argyrochosma incana, Bouteloua curtipendula, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Cynodon dactylon.
Description: Annual forb, 15 cm; flowers white.
