I plotted the UTM 5.1 miles east bound of Monarch Pass on HWY 50. RA
Frequent in areas once disturbed by road construction; lodgepole pine and aspen woods, with Lonicera, Haplopappus parryi.

Stems decumbent-sprawling, form clumps to 1m broad, subrhizomatous from a strong central taproot; rhizomes to 3 dm. long before surfacing, w/ new initiation horiz. on main rhizome, & vert. from ascending portions of rhizome; corolla greenish-ochroleucous.
