In zone lining lower part of sloping drainage bank between Prunus americana thickets; w/ Physalis virginiana, Cynoglossum officinale, Artemisia ludivociana, Cirsium arvense, Pascopyrum smithii . . . and dominant Anisantha tectorum; locally common. Clayey silt and sand of Piney Creek alluvium.
