Georeference Remarks: There is no clear confluence of Sand Canyon and Gallinas Canon in the form of a tributary of the Cimarron River. LJ The UTM used is on the border of S5, S8. LJ It looks to me like the confluence does not occur in Colorado, but rather over the state li
Elevation: 1341 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 4400 ft
Habitat: Talus slopes.
Reproductive Condition: Flr & Frt
Occurrence Remarks: Misidentified as M. glomerata, which is an indicator species for rich fens. Pohl did not see this specimen but suspected, correctly, that the identification was incorrect. Evidently there are no valid reports of that species for Colorado. W.A. Weber, 1994
