In herbaceous vegetation in moist fine sand along upper edge of shallow ephemeral wetland on nearly level upland underlain by Eocene sand. Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Site partially shaded before fire; may be unshaded now. Associates included Coreopsis tinctoria, Cyperus acuminatus, Dichanthelium lanuginosum, Eleocharis 30607, Heterotheca pilosa, Hypericum mutilum, Juncus marginatus, Juncus 30609, Leptochloa dubia (seeded?), Steinchisma hians.
