Habitat: Small arroyo in sight of lowest windmill. Gray oak woodland with Quercus grisea, Juniperus, Agave havardiana, Dasylirion, Nolina, Opuntia engelmannii, O. imbricata, Adolphia infesta, Tecoma stans, Rhus, Morus microphylla, Bouvardia, abundant grasses include Bouteloua curtipendula. Erect annual in shade of Quercus grisea. Fls greenish white.
