Small fen dominated by Carex. Several shrub zones of Cornus and a large wooded zone of Tamarack, Cornus, and poplur. Autumn olive encroaching on edges and some within fen on northern side. Nirdlingers maintain surrounding prairie. Homeowner to north manacures land in the lawn fashion to the edge of his property. 30m east of western border where Salix and Acer trees are near the north-south center. In Typha stand, with dominant Carex and lots of arrowhead. Ground with tall hummocks (35cm tall). No standing water but probably is some usually, ground muddy.
Population - not clumpy, interspersed with Typha and Carex stricta. No fruits could be found.
