Habitat: Clay lenses with two small vernal pools and a small marshy drainage on a dry plain with sandy loam soils. Associated with Boisduvalia sp., Psilocarphus oreganus, Veronica peregrina, Spergularia marina, Eleocharis cf. parishii, Juncus bufonius, Castilleja exserta, Achyrachaena mollis, Chorispora tenella, Phacelia ciliata, and various nonnative annual grasses.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering & Fruiting
Occurrence Remarks: Uncommon annual with pink flowers on sandy clay.
