Associated Species: Pinus edulis, Penstemon palmeri, Artemisia cf. bigelovii
Reproductive Condition: Vegetative
Occurrence Remarks: Small occurrence with some evidence of herbivory; some somewhat smaller and more spiny plants nearby may suggest hybridization with Opuntia nicholii
