Description: Plant height (tallest stem) 14 cm, width 7.5 cm; multiple-stemmed mound with one taller stem, stems olive-green; rib count 11; spines 10, short and sturdy, pinkish-tan with dark red tips; flowers collected late morning, diameter 28-32 mm, length 33-37 mm, outer perianth bright magenta at top and very pale green on lower half, inner perianth light magenta at top and very pale green on lower half, tepals are narrow with smooth margins and pointed tips; stigma lobe number 4-5, white, fused and very long; style white, filaments white; anthers yellow; fruit fleshy, elliptical, very pale rose, diameter 7-9 mm, length 15-16 mm; seeds black, 8 per fruit.
