Low secondary woods (standing water in many places), old homesite. Soil characteristics: Schriever silty clay loam (Sh)- very deep, poorly drained, very slowly permeable soils that formed in clayey alluvium. Associated plant species: Acer negundo, Ulmus rubra, Carex crus-corvi, Sideroxylon lyciodes, Canna indica, Thelypteris kunthii, Vinca major, Ligustrum japonicum, Acer rubrum var. drummondii. Common.
Schriever silty clay loam (Sh)- very deep, poorly drained, very slowly permeable soils that formed in clayey alluvium
