Habitat: Grassland with oak and juniper.
Associated Species: Quercus oblongifolia, Juniperus arizonica, Rhus virens subsp. choriophylla, Dasylirion wheeleri, Disakisperma dubium, Aristida ternipes, Aloysia wrightii, Garrya wrightii, Viguiera dentata var. lancifolia, Heliomeris, Dalea versicolor, Bothriochloa barbinodis, Agave schottii.
Description: Low mounded subshrub; rays white, disks yellow.
Occurrence Remarks: Duplicates to ARIZ, USON.
