Habitat: Shade of cliff along seasonal drainage in mesquite grassland.
Associated Species: Quercus oblongifolia, Fraxinus gooddingii, Erythrina flabelliformis, Prosopis velutina, Celtis reticulata, Ericameria laricifolia, Tithonia thurberi, Mirabilis longiflora, Cylindropuntia spinosior, Trixis californica, Bouvardia ternifolia, Bouteloua curtipendula, Piptochaetium fimbriatum, Ipomoea hederacea, Cyperus pallidicolor.
Description: Annual forb, 10 cm, locally abundant; leaves paired, cordate.
Occurrence Remarks: PAPAZ.
