Habitat: Shady margin of riparian canyon in oak-juniper woodland.
Associated Species: Platanus wrightii, Salix gooddingii, Quercus arizonica, Aralia humilis, Baccharis salicifolia, Agave palmeri, Juniperus deppeana, Juglans major, Populus fremontii, Erythrina flabelliformis, Amorpha fruticosa, Muhlenbergia tenuifolia, Eriogonum wrightii, Cercocarpus breviflorus, Pinus discolor, Toxicodendron radicans.
Description: Perennial forb, stems to 60 cm; leaves alternate, hairy; disk and ray flowers yellow, 3-4 heads in a panicle.
Occurrence Remarks: Duplicates to ARIZ, ASU.
