Habitat: Mesquite grassland.
Associated Species: Prosopis velutina, Agave palmeri, Fouquieria splendens, Bouteloua repens, Bouteloua chondrosioides, Acourtia thurberi, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Erythrina flabelliformis, Eriogonum abertianum, Commicarpus scandens, Kallstroemia grandiflora.
Description: Annual or biennial forb, 40 cm; stems +/- scabrous; buds erect; flowers pale lavender, rays ca. 5 mm long.
Occurrence Remarks: Duplicates to ARIZ, USON.
