Occurrence Remarks:
Pima name vaiewa. Fresh cocklebur leaves are mashed and placed on screw-worm sores in livestock. (Sacaton Flats Club, 27-Nov-40.). The burs are boiled and half cup of the strong tea is taken for either constipation or diarrhea. Works on the bowels.
