Umbel 0-5-flowered, flowers mostly replaced by ovoid, acuminate bulbils; bulbils sessile or stalk less than 1 mm. Flowers: tepals white to pink; flowering pedicel, if present, 8-13 mm. Seeds rarely produced. 2n = 28, 35, 42. Flowering May--Sep. Meadows and along streams; 0--3100 m; Alta., B.C.; Ariz., Colo., Idaho, Mont., Nev., N.Mex., Oreg., Utah, Wash., Wyo.
