Habitat: Slight generally E slope. Grassland with juniper in small drainages, 40% cover. Dominant grasses Stipa comata, Oryzopsis hymenoides. With Eurotia, shadscale, Bromus tectorum, Artemisia arbuscula. No recent grazing. Gravel 25%, Quaternary alluvium and colluvium. Limestone, dolomite and some igneous rock above.
