Edge of northern xeric forest (Pinus strobus dominant, Acer rubrum subdominant, w/ Betula papyrifera); assoc. with Carex arctata, Rhus radicans, Solanum dulcamara, Fraxinus americana, Acer saccharum, Betula alleghan. Primocanes 10.7-15.2dm; floricane 1.7m long, low arching to the ground. Sheet 2 of 9.This collection represents a gigantic form of R. allegheniensis, which may warrant subspecific recognition after more complete study.....M.P. Widrlecher, 1998
