Habitat: Chaparral with Quercus cornelius-mulleri, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Yucca schidigera, Eriogonum fasciculatum var. polifolium, Juniperus californica, Cylindropuntia ganderi, Rhus ovata, Arctostaphylos glauca; granitic substrates.
Occurrence Remarks: Woody perennial, flowers white. Note: with longer hairs on calyx and smaller gray leaves.
