In the company of Dichanthelium sphaerocarpon, Toxicodendron toxicarium, Smilax bona-nox, Rubus cuneifolius, Coreopsis lanceolata, Erigeron strigosus, Euphorbia marginata, Schrankia microphylla, Dyschoriste oblongifolia, Helianthemum carolinianum, H. rosamarinifolium, Lespedesa repens, L. virginica, and Acyrum pumilum. At border of oak-pine flatwoods, with blackjack and southern red oaks, and a few longleaf and loblolly pines.
