Staminate flowers racemose, long pedunculate, ~ 5 times length of pistillate peduncle. Pepos ovate, ~ 1.25 - 1.50 cm, with pilose and antrorsely barbed hispid haris. Leaves palmate, strigose. Scrambling annual vine, climbing via forking tendrils.
