Locality: USA, Utah, Summit, Peoa, Siddoway Ranch, west/southwest of State Route 32 by about 185 meters from where the ranch access road on the west side of the highway intersects it, and about 0.75 miles southeast of the entrance to Rockport State Park

Habitat: Growing in the shade of Salix in a raised meadow area contained within the interior of a small stream surrounded by pasturelands
Associated Species: Salix eriocephala var. watsonii, Carex utriculata, Equisetum
Description: Very early stage of anthesis, plants under 10 dm tall, hairy four-sided stems, opposite crenate leaves with hairs around edges, lavender flowers include nectar guides
Reproductive Condition: Flowering
Occurrence Remarks: Small grouping of this species observed only at this location; appears to be uncommon in the general area; long referred to in local floras as S. palustris var. pilosa; access to propery requires landowner permission
