Habitat: Bedrock cracks in bed of ephemeral arroyo in rolling tropical deciduous forest.
Substrate: Bedrock crack.
Associated Species: Vachellia campechiana, Lysiloma divaricatum, Mimosa palmeri, Prosopis velutina, Ceiba acuminata, Chloroleucon mangense, Ipomoea arborescens, Pilosocereus alensis, Stenocereus thurberi, Tridax procumbens, Melinis repens, Stemodia durantifolia.
Description: 0.25 meter tall ascending herb.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering.
