Washington hawthorn... 7 small trees, 12 to 15 ft. tall, in seasonally wet area. All fruit aborted (shriveled & black). Photos taken 2 September 2009 on a separate trip with Larry Lowman (pictured with trees). First known record of native, wild plants from Arkansas since 1883.
