Habitat: Old field (with a good complement of native species) on stream terrace.
Associated Species: Growing with Vernonia arkansana, Rudbeckia triloba, Cirsium altissimum, Echinacea cf. simulata, Verbesina virginica, Schedonorus arundinaceus, Tridens flavus flavus, Lespedeza cuneata, & Daucus carota.
Reproductive Condition: fruit
