Description: Deptford Pink (Dianthus armeria). Marine Park Salt Marsh (Burnett Street side), Brooklyn, NY. Side of trail. The pale orange insect species visible on the flowers appear to be a Homopteran (some wingless nymphs, others appear to be winged).
