Associated Species: Prosopis velutina, Baccharis sarothroides, Phyla nodiflora, Trianthema portulacastrum, Erigeron arisolius, Calibrachoa parviflora, Euploca procumbens, Persicaria pensylvanica, Cynodon dactylon, Atriplex elegans, Eleocharis sp.
Description: Annual grass, 1 m, locally abundant; spikelets bearing erect, long, red awns.
Occurrence Remarks: PAPAZ.
