Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Wooded fen with the canopy dominated by Larix laricina and Toxicodendron vernix. Other shrubs include Betula pumila, Salix spp. And Corylus americanus. Herbaceous later dominated by Carex stricta, C. lacustris, and C. sterilis. Other species include Galium asprellum, Toxicodendron radicans, Solidago patula, Eutrochium maculatum, and Scutellaria galericuluata. Ground not inundated.
