Locality: United States, Tennessee, Wilson, Travel in the Murfreesboro road and turn into Cedar forest road to the shooting area. Plant is present near by the road before the open glade.

Habitat: Habitat is a red cedar hardwood forest with cedar glades. Soil is thin and poor in drainage, on top of the lime stone.
Associated Species: Juniperus virginiana, Quercus bicolar, Q. velutina, Q. marilandica, Q. palustris, , Celtis lavigata, Ulmus alata, Lonicera japonica, Celtis occidentalis, Rhus Species.
Description: A shrub 2 m tall. Bark is reddish brown and slightly fissured. simple leaves with rough hairs in the upper surface. Fruit is a white color drupe present as clusters in red color stalks.
