Habitat: Large fen with high quality portions on eastern edge. Beautiful large Larix laricina trees shelter very diverse ribbons of fen. Large west portion is dominated by weedy species including Agrostis gigantea. Phalaris arundinacea dominates the fen/woodland interfaces. Bordered on north by creek and on south by woodland upland. Sedge meadow with Carex stricta, C. lacustris. Eutrochium maculatum, Onoclea sensibilis also common; Pycnanthemum virginicum, Toxicodendron vernix present; quadrat located about 5m southwest o f medium-sized Ulmus and about 10m south of woodland edge. Ground barely inundated.
