Habitat: Large fen with high quality portions on eastern edge. Beautiful large Larix laricina trees shelter very diverse ribbons of fen. Large west portion is dominated by weedy species including Agrostis gigantea. Phalaris arundinacea dominates the fen/woodland interfaces. Bordered on north by creek and on south by woodland upland. Sedge meadow with Carex sartwellii, Toxicodendron vernix, Thelypteris palustris, Doellingeria umbellata abundant. Ground inundated and hummocky; about 30m west of woodland/upland; many Populus tremuloides and Larix laricina trees line transition zone; vegetation about 0.7m to 1.0m tall.
