Habitat: Large fen with high quality portions on eastern edge. Beautiful large Larix laricina trees shelter very diverse ribbons of fen. Large west portion is dominated by weedy species including Agrostis gigantea. Phalaris arundinacea dominates the fen/woodland interfaces. Bordered on north by creek and on south by woodland upland. Prairie fen with grasses, sedges, and Asteraceae. Approximate 80m south of oak island and 80m north of woodland edge. Carex stricta common along with Eutrochium maculatum and Symphyotrichum firmum, Dasiphora fruticosa, Toxicodendron vernix, Pycnanthemum virginicum in area.
