Lake side prairie fen. Mostly Cyperaceae, Cornus, and button bush dominated marl zone with some Asteraceae and Dasiphora fruticosa near the wooded borders. Invaded by Phragmites, Phalaris arundinacea, and Frangula alnus. In large northern section of fen, in northwestern peninsula of prairie fen near channel, channel 20m to the northwest, 20m south of northern border, 30m south of two aspen trees. Sedge meadow with Thelypteris palustris, Dasiphora fruticosa, and 2m tall Cornus shrubs every 1-4mm2. Ground with small hummocks and moist.
Population - Flowering and fruiting. Common amongst Thelypteris palustris, Typha angustifolia, and Carex. On moist soil.
