Elevation: 314 meters (1030ft)
Habitat: Fen on county and private land and managed by The Nature Conservancy. Grand River travels through center of fen (4m wide). Near river area dominated by Cyperaceae, Typha, and Dasiphora fruticosa; shrubs of Rubus and Cornus near woodland upland edges. In western portion of prairie fen, 20m southwest of Grand River, 100m east of western border, 20m east of marl zone and Typha angustifolia interface. Signs of recent burn. Dominant vegetation is T. angustifolia with some Asteraceae, Thelypteris palustris, and Boehmeria cylindrica. Standing water in quadrat.
Description: Population - Between 0.75 and 1.25m tall. Some in bud and in flower. 1 per 1m2 for 5m2. Some leaf herbivory.
