Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Carex stricta dominated wooded fen with Larix laricina and Toxicodendron vernix. Other species include Betula pumila, Typha latifolia, Calamagrostis canadensis, Solidago patula, Lycopus uniflorus, and Thelypteris palustris. Ground moist and hummocky. Located about 10m west of stream.
