Elevation: 261 meters (856ft)
Habitat: Prairie fen dominated by Carex, Asteraceae, and grasses but encroachment by shrubs (Rubus, Cornus, Betula, Toxicodendron vernix). A few pockets and walls of shrub-carr and wooded fen. Evidence of some management. Hummocky in areas from Carex stricta, other areas dominated by other Carex and Dasiphora fruticosa. 2m west of Phragmites/shrub wall near center of fen. In the middle of a Betula pumila, Salix, Toxicodendron vernix, and Carex thicket. Ground very tussocky, mossy and has standing water.
Description: Population - No flowers, scarce, Mentha more abundant, but not in quadrat. Smells like pine.
