Elevation: 253 meters (830ft)
Habitat: Fen curves around east and south portions of the lake. Many "No Trespassing" signs posted. Mostly herbaceous Cyperaceae with shrubs on borders. Actively maintained by The Nature Conservancy. Fay Lake Road borders on east and south side fo fen. In wooded fen with tamarack canopy. Shrubs: Toxicodendron vernix, Rhamnus, with Carex and Asteraceae ground layer. Ground uneven and moist.
Description: Population - Clumped, hidden amongst Carex, 1-3 per 1m2 for 40m2.
