A railroad (currently used andmaintained), runs almost the entire length. Within 20m on either side of the tracks is almost all herbaceous (weedy but diverse). Further from tracks there are many tamarack trees and shrubs including some autumn olive. In standing water, very hummocky; hummocks comprised of Lythrum salicaria, Betula, and Salix. 150m south of railroad.
Population - Many growing of various sizes on edges of shrubby hummocks, no flowers, 30cm tall before flopping over. Associated with Lythrum salicaria and Onoclea sensibilis.
