Locality: United States, Colorado, Douglas, Near Daniels Park. E. side of Colo 177, about 0.45 mile east and south (by auto on the road) from a point opposite the stone shelter-house for Daniels Park.
Elevation: 1829 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 6000 ft
Habitat: Growing in very sandy soil of roadside ditch, east side of highway.
Reproductive Condition: Flr & Frt
Occurrence Remarks: Flowers pure white, but rayless. Seems to be Centaurea, but not one of the species listed by Harrington '54.) Original ID: Centaurea diffusa Lam., det. By H.D. Harrington.
