Habitat: Wet timberline krumholz of Picea engelmannii - Salix brachycarpa on steep rocky W. facing slope; only a few plants locally, not seen elsewhere; with Bistorta bistortoides, Potentilla diversifolia, Trifolium salictorum, T. dasyphyllum, Mertensia ciliata...
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Occurrence Remarks: 7.5' Jones Hill quad. Flowers pink. Substrate of Tertiary andesite.
