Habitat: Locally common in low herbaceous vegetation common in occasionally disked field on level broad floodplain of Nueces River. Associates include Lesquerella lindheimeri, Quincula lobata, Oenothera speciosa, Geranium texanum, Lepidium sp., Ammoselinum butleri, Glandularia bipinnatifida, Euphorbia spathulata, Sonchus sp.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
