Habitat: Locally common, lining banks of small but perennial spring run winding through halophyte-dominated grassland on deep calcareous alkaline loam. Associates include Distichlis spicata, Nesaea longipes, Sporobolus airoides.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
