Locality: United States, Texas, Brewster, 2.6 miles W of turnoff to Glenn Springs, 12.5 miles W of Hot Springs turnoff.
Habitat: Whitish soil (calcareous), low white hills. Low shrub to 2 1/2 feet; flowers yellow. Also in low shallow draw, brownish sand-gravel, stems chocolate brown. With Leucophyllum, Acacia, Larrea, and other shrubs; low sandstone? hills mixed with whitish hills. Ca. 20 plants, probably more, some to 4 feet high.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
