SW of large manmade pond in eastern arm of camp, ca. 5.7-5.8 airmiles NE of jct. US Rt. 180 and F. M. 1821 at Mineral Wells. Mineral Wells East Quadrangle. Elev. 1000 ft.

Habitat: Occasional in post oak woodland on comparatively deep soils on level upland. Soils: moderately deep, well drained, slightly acid fine sandy loam Udic Paleustalfs (Bonti Series). Geology: sandstone of Lake Pinto Sandstone (Pennsylvanian). Associates include Andropogon virginicus, Bumelia lanuginosa, Celtis reticulata, Commelina erecta, Conyza candensis, Dichanthelium lanuginosum, D. oligosanthes, Dyschoriste linearis, Eragrostis spectabilis, E. trichodes, Forestiera pubescens, Fraxinus texensis, Galactia volubilis, Lactuca ludoviciana, Lespedeza repens, Lespedeza virginica, Opuntia stellata, Schizachyrium scoparium, Smilax bona-nox, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Tragia ramosa, Tridens flavus, Ulmus crassifolia, Vernonia sp.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
