Erect forked herb. Open ground. Annual. In sandy soil. Soil: sand-loam. Flowers: terminal clusters, white, no odor. Leaves: pale beneath, oblong ovate, covered with star-like hairs. Fruit: a capsule. Bark: pale. Roots: a tap root. Very abundant in sandy soil.
