Habitat: Gentle slopes. Bonti-Truce Soils, 1-8% slopes. Associates include Ambrosia psilostrahya, Thelesperma filifolium, Liatris mucronata, Hedyotis nigricans, Calylophus berlandieri, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Dalea enneandra, Opuntia lindheimeri, and Glandularia bipinnatifida. Uncommon.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
