Habitat: Disturbed riparian area with Salix, Chilopsis, Populus, Vitis, Mimulus, Lythrum, Centaurium, Nicotiana, and numerous Cyperaceae. Rhizomatous perennial with runners. Locally abundant in loose sand and gravel of arroyo.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
