Locality: United States, Texas, VAL VERDE, Devils River bottom, 300 m. E of power plant near SP tracks, W of US 90. Elev. 950 ft.
Habitat: Gravelly river bottom. Shallow silty soil in loose, stream rounded pebbles, cobbles, and boulders. Juglans micro.-Prosopis gland.-Chilopsis lin.-Hymenoclea mono. complex. Shrub, 5 m. Bas. diam., largest of 10 stems, 10 cm. Crown diam., whole clump, 5 m. Bark gray, smoothish. Has Prosopis gland. appearance.
Reproductive Condition: fruiting=late
